Another Perspective What I am presenting here does not require you to be an astrologer, or even understand what astrology is. I am showing in simple lay man's terms what I saw many years ago when researching this subject. I was a Titanic tragic long before I became an astrologer but I realised early on that perhaps astrology could help to understand some of the whys that continued to go unanswered regarding this tragic incident in man's history. As a researcher one of the first things I learnt was that the axiom 'we are the sum of our yesterday's' is so true . No one moment can be taken on its own but must be looked at in the light of what has gone before. Then, well informed, we can look to see what is possible ahead. Each choice we make closes off a path to us but opens many others. This showed up so strongly when analysing this disaster as an astrologer. I have seen many astrologers make the mistake of looking at a frozen moment and trying to come to conclusions based on that moment alone..there is usually quite a lot of stretching along the way to make an argument fit. What I am showing you here needs no leap of faith, or imagination, it is very clear. I make no claims about some magical signature that ties people to the tragedy, although there are some key points that those who have a fascination with the story tend to share with those that wrote it. So lets look at a couple of charts. I am following a theme and all you need to do is follow with me, keeping in mind that every thing that occurs is as the result of what has occurred before The first is the sinking of the ship. (note: I calculated Titanic times based on the recorded time of telegrams received at land bases, converted to GMT and then back to the location of Titanic. She was operating off ship's time but due to the collision the clocks had not had a scheduled adjustment of app 14mins, hence the discrepancies given in testimony after the sinking.). (Clicking the chart will open a larger image in a new tab) The most notable points of interest are the Moon with Scheat and Uranus rising in the east. Since ancient times the fixed star (as opposed to moving stars or planets) Scheat has had an association with disasters at sea. This belief was so strong that many seasoned sailors would refuse to set sail when the star was being activated by a planet. Scheat is located in the constellation of Pegasus and at the time of the Titanic was at 28 deg Pisces. This means that any planet that was around 28 Pisces was activating or activated by Scheat. This is a degree that continually appears in the Titanic related charts. It is also worth noting that the ascendant is 5 deg Aquarius with Uranus at three. Again these are repeated in multiple charts. When a degree or planet is shown in a series of charts it shows a relationship between them and are all part of the bigger picture or story. Now look at the sailing chart as we work our way backwards in time. This chart has Uranus just heading past the descendant, with the Moon. This time it is Venus with Scheat and both are in a bad relationship to Pluto. Uranus is related to unexpected events or outcomes and the moon is the masses and in particular women/mothers. Venus represents pleasure and even luxury, in this case representing everything that was Titanic and her passengers that included some of the wealthiest people alive. Pluto represents the underworld and the deepest recesses of the psyche. It is usually involved in events of mass destruction, things that are so devastating that they are impossible to ignore or forget. Pluto was also very prominent in the 9/11 incident for example. There was also the sun at the top of the chart in difficult relationship to the planet Neptune, which is the God of the Sea in ancient times. The Sun represents vitality and Neptune in difficult aspect represents the dissipation of vitality. White Star seemed to recognise that midday was considered the most auspicious time of day, when the sun it is at it's zenith, meaning at its brightest, warmest and highest point in the sky. All their ships set sail at midday and the launches took place at the same time of day.
If we go backwards in time again, this time to the laying of the keel – which would be the equivalent of the conception. This is the laying of the backbone upon which everything else will be built. It is a joyous occasion as all of the planning, drawing and draughting are now becoming real. The dream begins to manifest. We have again a difficult relationship from Mars to Pluto. It is also interesting to note the degree of the moon and the MC/IC axis at 3 degrees of Aquarius/Leo. This is a perfect match for Uranus and the setting/rising at the time of the sinking as well as the Moon being extremely close to the rising of the sailing time . Mars is also with Uranus and is again poorly angled to Pluto. Each of the planets have a number of meanings or associations, these are specific to the planet but astrology is a lot like an onion in that there are many layers, and the skill is knowing which layer you are looking at. One of the representations of the planet Mars is it's connection to iron and steel, which is of course the basis of a ship of this era. It is also connected to means of conveyance, which at this time was the ship. So it is a planet of great import in this case. Alarm bells ring when this planet in chart after chart is being challenged by difficult aspects to difficult planets. To add fuel to the fire is that the aspects in all cases are as strong as they get. Background The
