Another Perspective part 2 There are many more connections going backwards, all the way to the original agreement between White Star line and Harland and Wolff to form the partnership that would see Harland and Wolff build all White Star ships. I will perhaps go into to further detail in another article. Suffice it to say there is enough evidence, when following the thread that holds it all together, that perhaps there was indeed a hand of fate working it's way to create 'A Night to Remember' , to quote Walter Lord. There are just a couple of other charts I wish to throw into the ring at this stage. The first are the charts of the Captain, EJ Smith and that of the designer, Thomas Andrews. Smith was born under a full moon with Sun and Moon in the early degrees of Aquarius and Leo, the same degrees that have shown up in chart after chart for the ship itself, so I guess it was no coincidence that he would become her captain. Thomas Andrews, Titanic’s designer had his Uranus at 3 deg of Leo and his Aquarian Mercury and Sun also tying into the disaster degrees. He had a number of other points in his chart that were also active at the time of the sinking. To finish off this segment we move forward to the discovery of the remains of Titanic, 2 miles below the surface in the Atlantic. At the exact moment that Robert Ballard discovered the wreck, the Moon was high and bright in the sky and sitting right with, I hope by now you've guessed it, yes Scheat. While the planets Venus and Jupiter were marking the degrees of the ascendant/descendant of both the sailing and sinking charts. Even the forming of the International ice Patrol, which was created in the aftermath of Titanic, occurred when the Moon was with Scheat and Venus and Jupiter were again triggering the same degrees. And finally as we remember and commemorate those who lost their lives, 100 years later, Mercury, the planet of news and communication is sitting, again, with Scheat, as our newspapers and televisions are filled with stories of Titanic. So I guess the question is what does it all mean? My take, when looking at all the evidence, astrologically, socially and historically is that mankind was in need of a shake up and Titanic filled the bill. Personally, after all my years of fascination, reading, research and on many occasions immersing myself so deeply in the subject that I have felt as though I was drowning, there is just too much that defies reason. Too much that doesn't make sense, unless, there is a philosophical lean. I have been lecturing and giving talks on the subject all around the country for many years now and it will be something I will continue to work with probably for the rest of my life. It is in my blood and yes, to quote my children, it is my obsession. What great changes came about as a result of the sinking and the subsequent senate hearings on both sides of the Atlantic? All ships had to carry enough lifeboats for every man, woman and child aboard, and crews trained in the use of such, along with properly conducted lifeboat drills. Portable Floodlights were to be a part of all ships manifests. All ships to have 24 hour manning of radios, with auxiliary power, to keep the radio operating, until the radio room is submerged. That the firing of flares or rockets be restricted to distress signals only. That watertight bulkheads be mandatory and that they must reach to the height of the uppermost continual structured deck. Companies were made accountable for losses (at the time of Titanic, there were no compensation payouts for most, in fact some grieving families actually received bills from White Star). The Leader of the US senate inquiry declared that never again would a person live or die by virtue of their race or class. And the International Ice patrol was set up immediately, following a public outcry over the sinking. They remember their origins every year on April 15 as they fly over the area where Titanic went down, and drop a wreath in remembrance of those who lost their lives. For me the Titanic has been a source of fascination, to say the least, since I was very young, having watched the original Titanic starring Clifton Webb and Barbara Stanwyck, as a 9 year old, in a re run many years later of course. I am not a rivet counter, in that I couldn’t tell you all the specifics of the ship's construction, speed, how many loaves of bread were baked each day etc. I have always been interested from the human point of view, wondered about those who lost their lives, those who watched helplessly as loved ones perished before them and those who waited by the docks for the husbands, fathers, brothers, sisters, wives and children they would never see again in this life time. But what I really wonder is if we are drawn into situations by virtue of our nativities. Do we choose a birth time independently, and then find we are drawn to times and places that resonate with our own vibrations or paths? Or instead do some of us incarnate with a specific destination in time and space? Or again is there a little of both in operation at any time? I don’t feel we are any nearer to finding answers to these questions than were, Plato or Socrates over 2,000 years ago. And the question of fate Vs free will no doubt still be debated 2 thousand years hence. Hopefully I’ve given you some food for thought, and a few new ways to look at the age-old conundrum. But remember your free will choices can affect another’s destiny. Just as Bruce Ismay had the free will to choose to clear the decks of life boats so that the pampered few could strut their stuff at the expense of safety for all. So, if our choices impinge upon the fate of others, choose wisely. Background The
