JEANNI MONKS
Jeanni Monks is self-employed as a professional astrologer and a teacher of astrology through the ‘Gemini Rising Academy of Astrology’ in Brisbane - Queensland. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology & Sociology; a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education, a Masters in Esoteric Psychology and is also a consultant in the Australian Bush Flower Essences. She also holds the Federation of Australian Astrologers Practitioner's Certificate during which she was awarded the 2000 Allan Johnson Award for excellence in the Dynamic Exam Module. At the beginning of 2002, Jeanni was awarded her A.A.T. by the FAA (Federation of Australian Astrologers) and the National Council of Astrologers - which recognises her as a fully Accredited Astrology Teacher in Australia.
Jeanni is also a committee member of the QFA (Queensland Federation of Astrologers); the Association of Professional Astrologers (APA); FAA National Council and the FAA Exam Board.
Born in Africa, Jeanni brings her depth of life-time experiences, education, skills and talents to her present-day teaching and counselling.
Her motto is: "Our thoughts and beliefs create our reality. When our thoughts are conscious and positive, miracles happen!” Jeanni promotes her passion for the on-going educational evolvement of astrology, through writing articles, as well as speaking and lecturing to many groups and conferences, whenever the opportunity arises.
